 Subcontract Policy

 

Our company is committed not to use any subcontractor for any production process. As per BSCI and different client requirements, our company does not appoint any facility to carry out value-adding process steps of the assembling completely or partially.

 

However, if we recruit any subcontractor due to a business emergency, we will maintain the following procedures:

 

Our company establishes and maintains appropriate procedures to recruit subcontractors based on their ability to meet the social requirements. The selection of subcontractors is determined not only by price and quality but also by social performance capability with respect to the required social standards. There must be mechanisms in the Company for checking future subcontractors, the results of such checks must be recorded and the check must be conducted by qualified persons of the Company or by third parties mandated to conduct the cheek. Requirement by the Company for the subcontractor(s) to present its (their) own Social Audit Report in accordance with the BSCI always meets the requirements of B.I.10.but is not obligatory. However, this will reduce the Company’s own inspection effort.

 

Our Company maintains appropriate records of subcontractors' commitments to social accountability including, but not limited to the written commitment to – There are written agreements of the Company with its subcontractors, comprising at least their Social Audit Report in accordance with the BSCI always meets the requirements. However, this will reduce the Company’s own inspection effort.

 

Our Company establishes a system to monitor the subcontractors’ social performance. The Company can meet these requirements by various measures, e.g. by regular inspections by competent employees of its own implementation of an internal monitoring system with training and cheeks, an inspection of subcontractors by external experts.

 

Our Company maintains reasonable evidence that the subcontractors continuously improve conditions to meet the social requirements. In the course of the audit, the Company must be able to provide evidence that a continuous improvement process has been initiated with respect to the working conditions of its subcontractors. This may be done by inspection reports of its own qualified inspectors, or by inspection reports on qualification measures carried out, or by credible reports from audit or consulting companies, trade unions, NGOs, or other third parties.

 

Presentation of Social Audit Reports and /or Social Re-Audit Reports of the subcontractor(s) in accordance with the BSCI by the Company always meets the requirements but is not obligatory. However, this will reduce the Company’s own inspection effort.
